Hi all,
Just moved to GW-land from Shadow-land.
Been looking at GWs for a few months now, as my wife did not feel comfortable riding the Shadow. I was fortunate enough to find an owner that was willing to trade even for my Shadow. He is slightly younger than me. He bought a Rebel a few years ago, and bought the Wing this spring. He didn't feel comfortable riding it, because he does mainly in-town driving and is quite a bit shorter than me. He had a hard time reaching the ground.
I had a 1992 VT1100C with 12,800 miles on it. I traded for a 1986 Aspencade with 65,000 miles. Stator and belts were changed about 5,000 miles ago. Tires are like new.
So, new (to me) bike.
