Greetings from South Mississippi! Have wanted an early Goldwing for the past 25 years and finally bought one about 2 years ago. After re-building the carbs using Randakks wizardry, I now have a smooth running wing. Now to tackle the timing belts...

Nice!..Belts are no big deal so long as you set the crank and belts on their mark before you remove them, then just slip them on, but the right head sprocket will move so you`ll have to hold it in place while you slip it on or use a wrench to hold it while you install.

Welcome from North TEXAS DFW area... yeah just watch the head and timing Mark.. and turn it by hand so if the issue fires arise and the timing is off.. you don't bend a valve.. mine locked up.on the turning over by hand found timing was off... had to loosen the valves to turn it over... found a odd mark that I thought was the timing Mark but was off tooth and half.. no serious problem resulted...
