clicking type noises come from the front brakes- that really don't sound good. If i put a drop of oil, (or spray oil),, on where those dust seals are on the caliper bolts,, that cures the problem,, looking for what might be wrong, or a permanent fix
 
I always use never seize on the sliding areas of calipers, even use a little on the pad backers where they rub/slide
 
Silicon grease is the best stuff for brake hardware as it's more impervious to heat & water, :yes: used it for years. Expensive, little dab will do ya, type of stuff, but a tube lasts for years. :good:
