NOS GL1000 piston kits.

i have for sale some NOS piston kits. standard size. i believe these were discontinued many years ago. i bought two sets on ebay couple of years ago, and stashed them away. :blush:
kits include , piston, rings and gudgeon ( piston to conrod pin )
these are also advertised elsewhere, including ebay. asking US 500 , but pm me, if interested, and we will talk... :music:

Hmmm...wonder if the Gudeon is what needed on the hooch bike motor that knocking ...wonder what that looks like and does

It's the wrist pin, Joe. Holds the piston to the connecting rod. :yes:

Yah I figure that’s what it was ...but never heard of it as gudeon ....I’m rather sure that’s the problem with my motor or the rod end

hey Joe,
yes, in the US its called a wrist pin
here it is mostly called the gudgeon pin. as an aside, the chap who did the machine work on my blue 75 engine a few years ago, told me he had rarely renewed that pin on Honda engines.
only if major damage was done, re: run out of oil , had he seen them worn. a testament to the quality of the material used by Honda i reckon.
maybe why these kits were discontinued in the 80s perhaps ?
