Stupid deer, Why the heck do they cross in front of vehicles.
Got curious given my new location here in the rurals..seems oct-nov is the worse time then found this video.

******* deer. I've come so close but knock on wood never hit one. Once in the mountain twisties a group jumped down on the road from above as I was coming around a blind corner. Just before that I was hitting the turns as fast as I could but this time I was relaxing and riding slower.

Around here I blow the horn at night when I'm away from housing. A short blast every mile or two. So far that has kept my path clear.
