I have an oil leak on the left head that I have been chasing and can't seem to fix it. Every time I ride, I wind up with oil on my toes! When I shut the bile off, nothing. I have replaced the cover gasket on the back side of the head, but still not affect. It isn't a bad leak, but I am tired of always having oily toes! Where should I look next?

Look on ebay for some hiway pegs/boards.... :whistling:
:hihihi:

Could be the shifter seal leaking, valve cover, cam seal leaking....so many possibilities.

Check under the ignition cup. Rear cam seal may be leaking a tad.
Edit- Oops. I thought you were talking the 1000. With the 1100 there's a cap covering the rear cam seal.

The rubber washers under the bolt heads harden and can leak also.

FYI, don't try to tighten them any more then seated. The threads are designed to stop there at that tightness, any more could snap the bolt off in the head.

Must be riding too slow if the oil makes it all the way up there to your toes. :smilie_happy:
