i would ride with u guys anytime. i usually ride alone because everyone thinks u need a harley. i had one and i hated it. i ride cause i like it, not cause im trying to be cool. some people think its a fashion statement. we call em posers or rubs. im just me and i like to ride. people here dont wave much either. but i guess anymore my bike looks like a land yacht comin down the road so maybe they dont know what it is. LOL!!!

My bike doesn't have the land yacht "look" but what other 30 year-old bike allows you to climb on and take a 500 mile road trip without the fear of being left by the side of the road 200 miles from home? I will ride with anyone who will ride with me. For me, its always been about "being up on 2 wheels" (remember the old saying: Put something powerful between your legs :smilie_happy: )no matter what is providing the power, albeit a v-twin, triple, four, or even a single. Sadly, the vast majority of newer riders I run into and those with very little actual riding experience are all caught up in that "V-Twin" mystique, especially new Harley owners. Who can really blame them with all the media attention thrown towards the brand? They have no clue about the real meaning of enjoying the landscape and the excitement of the lifestyle. They are the folks who blast past you at 75 while you are running 60 enjoying the view, and are to busy trying to set land speed records when they blast past you stopped on the side of the road to help a fellow rider who had a problem. In this day and age with all the wierdos out there, riding in a group offers protection, security and fellowship for us who enjoy one of the last true adventures out there that is still "legal" and affordable. I get compliments on Sally from all kinds of riders, both old and new,..(the vast majority of new riders didn't know they made 'Wings back in the day.. :smilie_happy: )May be I'm the snob; I don't care what you ride, if you can appreciate what I ride, I'll respect what you ride and WE can ride on...... :Egyptian:
