Slabghost pointed out to me that I should hang onto this motor until I get the new one going. That's probably a good idea. I'll repost with a more detailed list when im ready for that.

Unfortunately yes it is. The starter bolts came out and as it turns out the top bolt was broken off in the case which inturn cause the lower to round out. I went to drill the bottom hole out and found out the hard way that the PO had JB welded a hole about 5/8ths inch in diameter, he took some time covering that up. So I am done. There are too many mismatched components and too much what else has this guy done? for me to continue. I found a 1000 motor thats good all around for 300. As soon as I scrape up those funds I'll be putting that in.
