Dispute opened this morning against my son for a phone he sold 2 months ago on eBay......"Unauthorised payment"......are they serious! 2 months later?!
Looks like Daddy found out!

Come on, can a person be so stupid and selfish that they'd dispute a legitimate transaction and think it's okay to take money away from another person?!

I like using eBay and PayPal but this makes me want to stop using them all together.
My son has called them so many times he knows what the robot prompts will say next lol.

I have not had any issues yet, but I know from a sellers point the cards can stack against you quick. This though, is a result of so many bad sellers on Ebay.

I returned ram to Amazon. They kept emailing me that it wasn't received. No reply emails of course. Then I get a package the other day. Inside is the opened box with the ram and they rebilled me.

I've only had one ebay seller try to scam me and paypal was great in helping. In my case the seller was given every opportunity to make the deal right. Idiot kept saying items were shipped but gave no tracking number. Funny that stuff never did arrive.

Minority ALWAYS seem to fu-- it up for the MAJORITY! :headscratch: :head bang: :salute:

Guess I've been fortunate with my ebay/paypal dealings. Not ever a problem in the years I've been buying. I have never SOLD anything on fleabay, tho. Too much work for me.... :hihihi:
The only "problem" I've ever had with an ebay seller was a wrong/butchered speedo/tach assy, which they refunded my $$$ and told me to keep it, and I bought a set of infectors for my Cad SLS(Northstar), which the guy dint actually have in stock. I sent him mine, and he rebuilt them, but some were not rebuildable, so he went out and bought some, rebuilt them, and sent me 2 complete sets, for the original sale price. That only took time, but dint cost me any extra.

Now that I've said all that....my next transaction will go to s :sensored: t.... :Doh2:

Ebay is all for the buyer.
If you check there new policy on return's.
Buyer as up to 3 months to let ebay know and it will be send back to seller for refund.
Paypal policy is 6 months from time purchasing item to return it to seller for refund.
I know this because 5 months ago my son sold phone and 2 1/2 months later get email from ebay stating buyer is returning and refund will be issued. Its being return because buyer doesn't like it.
I called and like I said buyer as up to 3 months to return for full refund, no questions at all.
So you can buy something use it and then return within 3 month's.

Sucks for the sellers. I've bought a lot from ebay sellers and aside from one real idiot all have been great even if there was a problem.

I think E-Bay policy stinks , I got caught twice buying bike parts that the seller said would fit my bike and they didn't. So, for me to get a refund I have to pay the shipping. That is not right, why should I pay for is mitake. The seller knows all the tricks for selling to Canada, they know it would be expensive for me to ship the part back for refund and E-Bay wont help except to say I have to pay the shipping for refund. Seems to me if it's the sellers fault you get the wrong part, he should pay the shipping for refund, E-Bay sucks on this problem. Ps: The price for me to ship one of the parts was more then what I paid for the part so I lose.

Another instance of a government out of touch with the SUBJECTS. :sensored: That's what happens when we live where we let the government take care of us. :nea: We seem to forget we here, wanted no part of the subject deal :read: .But we are headed back to it, on the run. :whistling: The second amendment is under constant attack by the liberal, dishonest, politician's, & press who drive the constant take away the guns, from the honest citizen. These gun free zones seem to work well for someone who want's to shoot a bunch of people with out any issues of someone else who might think your out of line, who could put a stop to what your doing? :headscratch:

I think I saw some sellers stating that refund is valid within 2 weeks or so and so.
Then that statement is not honored by eBay/Paypal?

I have never sold anything on eBay either.
So far I had a few wrong items sent but the sellers responded appropriately or otherwise Paypal dispute got me refunds.
