I could never be like you, Joe. My hands are reasonably functional, but they don't compare to yours. And I'm not just talking about motorcycles. I've seen what you can do in construction.

One thing is sure, I would enjoy sharing a beer or three with you someday while we swap lies! Preferably with a bunch of the other Rascals who haunt this joint.

I think I bought a bunch of parts today. I don’t have the belly to take one back from the brink like this I think. Needs everything. Probably the best candidate is the one that’s in 1 million pieces - the 76 K. <sigh>

However, This was a private estate sale with stuff still up for grabs dirt cheap. Picked up a 79 Firebird for $500!! Complete extra engine, 2TH 350s, engine stand and the hoist thrown into the deal. Also the pick up truck bed full of associated bits and pieces for the car including new in the box performer intake and carburetor.

I need this thing like a bad lung, but could not pass it up for the giveaway price:

Yeah, the guy is really desperate to get his Dad's house cleaned out so he can put it on the market. He's really only worried about the money that house is going to bring, not the stuff that's in the way of selling it.

Well, I will finish this thread out for now with a couple of last parting shots. Took a bit of time to organize the horde, I am pretty pleased with the way it turned out. All three are total basket cases. But I either have an inventory of parts to sell out over eBay and what not, or a couple of projects to take me over the next five years or more. I’m leaning towards the project end of the spectrum. One 750, a bunch of spare parts AND stuff to sell:
