My vacuum advance doesn't work on my '82. If I put C5 on do I still need to fix vac adv for best performance?
Thanks
Brian

No Brian. The beauty of the C5 is 4 pre programmed advance curves so you no longer need any mechanical/vacuum advance :good:
Might have to go to a cheaper brand of cat food (we don't have a cat either) :smilie_happy:":265mc3br]

Sweet! Thanks :yahoo: just need to find some loot
Next weekend, I hope to put it to longer test with a trip pulling the trailer to Vermont to pick up another Vetter Fairing and all of my camping gear.

Brian, if you need a Vetter faring, mine is available with lowers and the cycle sound kit! I don't want to discourage a trip to Vermont (because that is an awesome trip), but if the trip is just for a faring I can offer mine!

Just remember to plug up the open hole on the carb. I used a spare 6mm x 20mm bolt and bottomed it out so it doesn't leak. It makes people look and ask questions.
By the way, here is the full blown report on switching the curves: https://www.classicgoldwings.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=8312
But...we're all angels in California! There's a city, and a baseball team named after us! We'd never lead anyone astray! By the way, I was working on my brakes the other day and... :mischief:":2yd77m1i]
That guy in Oz and someone in CA lead us astray from time to time.
