I am in the process of replacing the springs in my gl1100 shocks.
The bumper was very squishy. My question is the damper has a catch when compressing it. Could the bumper have put some of the goo in the damper?
Since the damper can not be disassembled--How can I get the goo out of the damper?
Could I place the damper in some gas, Mean green, mineral spirits.... to get it out?
What would I use?
Thank You for any help.
