a friend has an 1100 wing and is looking for some longer lasting tires than than the dunlop 404's he's using. does dunlop make an e3 to fit the rear

Yes, the Dunlop MU90B-16 is what I have on my 82 1100I. I just replaced the rear that got me 25,000 miles. I replaced with another E3

Depends on the year.
There is an E3 for the 82-83 but I don't believe they make one to fit the 80-81.

That's good to know for the 82's had heard that the E-3's were to wide

The 83s have trouble with the lower weight rated tires like the 404 rubbing do to week side walls,but the E3 is a high rated tire and does not rub.

I had the same problem and solution with my 82.

same deal 82 s are the same ...80-81 are like 1000s size tires
