According to Honda parts fische, the 80 & 83 use OEM # 18300-463-010 for right side and the 80 & 83 use OEM # 18300-464-010 for the left side. However none of them are available from Honda. So on paper they should work but you have to be careful what you buy on ebay cause some of them sellers don't know what their selling when they list it. That's all I know to tell ya except Welcome to CGW.

Good point Mike.

I would ask them to send you a fresh picture of what your getting since all the model, GL1000, 1100, and 1200 all look different and are easy to identify because of the differences.

Case in point. (Sort of)
I wanted to buy an electric cooling fan kit for my van.
I asked the seller a bunch of questions then asked for a picture installed on MY model van.
Turned out all his listings use generic pictures and he didn't have one of an actual installation so I passed.

Welcome to Classics! I was always under the impression that any 1100 system fit an 1100. If all else fails, cut off your mufflers and install some Sportster Mufflers.

Thank you for the information and the welcomes.
I see I've found a great resource to keep my ole gal alive and well.
Only paid $1000 for it, and put that much into it again. She is no show bike but runs extremely well. Smooth reliable ride.

Greetings from northern Pennsylvania.
