No time. Just gonna hold on and get wet. Sorta like Laconia every year. It's also called RAINCONIA. Doesn't last long, but comes down hard. No cracks from the gallery please. This is a family show.

Well, it's 02:00, the rain has let up all we got right now is a tropical storm warning up, the fog is rollin in and it's gettin breezier. Irene's coming!

Been watching on CNN & The Weather Channel hang in therehope ya got provision's if the power is out for a couple days or so.
:good: :good: :good:

It was pretty much a non event here in Boston. It blew, it rained, it blew somemore. I rode into work at 22:30. Breezy but dry. Western Mass and Vermont are the ones under water from all the rain on the western side of the storm. they got more than 5 or 6 inches of rain in just a few hours. Those poor folk are ending up miles down river. Plus we lost a damn somewhere in Mass. Haven't found out where just yet. Boston dodged a bullit. Back to regular life in the morning. I'll go for a ride in the morning after I get off work. Thanx for the concern all.

Still doing good in my area of NJ. Last night at dusk, the temps dropped to 70 degrees with clear skies, no humidity and NW wind. Took a real nice 60 mile ride through the NJ farmlands......my kind of weather! The flooding is hitting many parts of NJ and PA, but not in my area.

Perhaps if ALL of the coastal states had evac plans for such weather, as did New Yawk, there wouldn't be as much death involved in these hurricanes/typhoons....

A sign seen in the New Yawk area.....

Glad to hear most of youse guys didn't get hammered too bad!! :clapping: :clapping:

That looks good on paper, but unfortunatly we're still gonna have the meatheads that absolutly must go surfing, or go to the water front and get swept away even after all the warnings and previous losses from moronic behavior like that. Those people died of their own stupidity. The one lost by falling tree's can't be helped. No way to prevent that. that's a fluke.
