That looks great! How does the gel feel compared to original?
Still putting it back together Gerry. First official ride will be to the VJMC Rally on the Gold Coast Saturday if I get her all back together in time.

Finally rode the Rats Nest after cleaning it up for the VJMC Rally on the Gold Coast. When I changed the fork seals I also replaced the progressive springs. I was congratulating myself on how the atf ( 10w equivalent and progressive recommend 20w for the Gl1100) and the new springs had made such an improvement to my ride when I remembered that we had installed the gel insert in the seat.
On the ride home I realised that I should have purchased a slightly longer gel pad or not pushed it up all the way to the backrest but it is still a great improvement. :good:
