I really hate rear wheel drive vans. Especially the Ford cutaway diesels. Seems the older and fatter I get, the harder they are getting to work on.

I found this on a Ford Triton in one of our uniform company's p-vans. It started out as a check engine light with lean codes. Eventually wound up at the misfire counter which led me to cylinder #7, and ended up pressurizing the cooling system and leave it sit for an hour, came back and sure enough, found coolant seeping into ol' #7. Lucky for me they decided we were too expensive.

About the good friend to help.... I work better alone. Actually, this 04 Kia today wasn't too bad. The Expeditions and the Navigators are where the labor is. I am the official heater core dude at work. (not a coveted title) Not sure why that is? Maybe I don't squeel loud enough at work. I keep it all pent up inside, then let it out here on you guys when I get home. :smilie_happy: :smilie_happy:

Good luck with your heads! :builder:

I've got an 86 Monte Carlo that needs the dash wiring redone when you get finished there. Don't worry though, the cruise control and other computerized junk is being thrown out.

I am not good with cruse control...every vehical i have owned with it quit shortly after i got the vehical...also those above your head moniters....you know the ones that tell you the temp, MPG, time, etc...they never work for me either.. I guess that is why i like the wings sooooo much....other than recovering one from sure death in some barn or other storage place i just ride, ride, and ride....Providing moma will let me........ however i am lucky because she likes to ride also...now if i could just modify a bike to shift on the right mabe i could get the back on her own bike again....By the way...how do you use those little smiley faces????????
