Where can you buy the socket needed to remove the left nut that holds the swingarm in?

If you say "Honda", the next question is "tell me on how to make the socket because Honda loves their name brand tools."

Thanks

I can't find the pics, but these aren't so hard to make. ( I have an 1100) Step one, get a socket with the outside diameter the same as the nut. step two, measure the size and spacing of the notches on the nut. Here, a block of clay could be pushed into the nut to get a replica for measuring. I used a good ruler and a pair of machinist dividers to get the measurements.
Now for the hard part, scribe the depth line on the outside of the socket, wrap the socket in masking tape and draw the edges of the notches on the tape.
Now do what you do to steady your hands and cut the notches in the socket with a dremel tool and an abrasive cutoff wheel(s). note: be sure you have your safety glasses on...I used up several wheels and broke a couple too.

Pictures on request.

That should work well enough, :good: love those inexpensive (cheap) solutions for a special tool.

Did a lot of research on this and found a recommendation to use a PAR Tool P/N FR6 that is used on bicycles. Bought mine at a local bike shop for $19.00 CDN - works a treat.

Cheers
