Hey what you guys think about that movie not being release because of supposed terrorist actions?

I think it's total bull **** cowering to terorists and setting a president for future attacks at our way of life and freedoms of speech!
The fbi, if they're capable of doing anything good, needs to jump on this and put a stop to it and our wonderful president needs to get involved and publicly announce we ARE NOT going to bow to terrorist threats!!

It would seem that celebrities privacy, and other issues of the wealthy, are more important than our way of life! That goofy-grinning little turd in North Korea needs to be gone!

Mixed feeling on that one, on one hand the public is not exposed to another Seth Rogen movie :clapping:
But to take it out of theaters is also wrong, I am very conflicted.

N Korea and China are among the most active nations that are waging cyber war on all other nations, everyone knows this. Someone at Sony seriously misjudged the consequences of making this movie.

Some interesting side notes, Trey Parker and Matt Stone(creators of South Park) have gotten away with this kind of thing twice. The first time was when they created an episode called "Super Best Friends," in which they had a cartoon image of Mohamed without fallout. Some time later that newspaper in Sweden(?) posted a cartoon of Mohamed and the paper was bombed and people died. After this there was another episode of South Park that was to feature Mohamed and there was such a reaction from Comedy Central that the episode aired with the likeness obscured with a black box with the word "censored," again without incident.

After these controversial episodes aired Matt and Trey created the movie "Team America." A puppet comedy where the then leader of N Korea Kim Jong Il the father of today's leader Kim Jong Un is planning to take over the world with the help of liberal actors in Hollywood who belong to the Film Actors Guild(F.A.G.), led by George Clooney. Team America is sent in and Kim Jong Il is slain.

I don't know if they are just lucky, have good timing or both.
