Saturday Mama had an appointment for me to get some new eyeballs. So we go and get me eyeholes checked, and then to get the new specs. Waited two hours wandering around the "village" until they were done. Got them, could see a wee bit better, but sumptin just weren't right. After we left, I noticed I could only see directly in front of me...everything to either side was just a blur. "You'll get used to them", they said. I think not. After we got home, I tried reading, and couldn't....could ONLY see a circle of about 2" of clear werds...everything else was blurred. So...I have to move my head as I read. Get on the puter...same dang thing...only a 2" circle directly in front was clear.....and the screen was curved....and moving as I moved me head.
So...back we go Sunday to tell them this crap ain't gunna werk. "I was afraid of that" the gal says. Sooooo.....she KNEW there was gunna be an issue, but failed to mention "Your field of vision will be only a small area with these new lenses" ???

Now I get to wait for a couple of weeks until they get the lenses I need.
After leaving there, we go to an antique mall to just kill some time. While there, my bluetooth alerts me that my phone is disconnected. So I check, and the dang thing is off....dead...will not turn on. I charged the battery Saturday night, and it powered up just fine Sun mornin. Now Mama's having a fit....gotta get a new phone. I keep tellin her I prolly mashed one of the side buttons, and had been taking video for an hour, and the battery was just dead. Nope...gotta get the the ATT store. So I tell the ATT guy, I think it needs a battery, or the battery is dead. "We ain't got that battery". Otaaaay....so can ya at least plug a charger in and see if it will come on? Sure....."It ain't working...the phone is just dead...need a new one".
Now...new phone, new specs I can't see out of and....when I get home, I plug the "old" phone into the charger.....powers right up. :rant: Can't use it tho, since they already switched to the new one, and the a-hole kept my old SIM card....with all my pics and phone #s on it.....and the sonofabitch LIED just to get a sale.
