I've used tank bags for many years, and right now I have two one is a small Lockart/Phillips for day trips and the other is a medium large TourMaster expandable that I use for longer road trips. They are great for holding stuff you might want to get to in a hurry and at times have been my only luggage. A couple extra pair of undies, socks, tee shirts and jeans and you good for a week or two.lol

They make some nice ones for all the "other" bikes with metal gas tanks that attach with magnets
There rectangle bags there usually about 6 inches tall and flat on top with a zipper pocket with a clear top so you can slide in a map or directions

Too bad our fake tanks are plastic :fiddle:

Well as it turns out,the gas and upper lid are metal and are magnitic. But the ones with ears just flop and I dont want to hurt the paint with them flapping on the side of the tank.
Was just wondering what brands tend to lend themselves better to are wings.

My small bag doesn't have wings the whole bottom is covered with magnets, It's real handy to just throw on and go.

Sounds just like what Im looking for. What brand is it? Do you have a picture? Does it have a map pocket?
