AFter you get the belts on and have turned it over by hand (as recommended in the write up) adjust your valves and then turn by hand again.. at least two time through the cycle (past T1 4 times)... to make sure your timing mark was correct.. when my motor locked after putting on belts it was my valves that got me rethinking.. I turned it by hand and then the motor stuck.. I loosened the valves reset to T1/1st cyclinder tdc.. and readjusted valves and turned it by hand and it locked again... then I rechecked my timing marks and found the funky mark that was my timing mark.. after that turned by hand with no problems..
