I've had quite a week, i just recently got my 1982 aspencade safeties and ready for the road. I went to pick my son up from work and the fuel pump on my 2003 Oldsmobile alero failed but the garage that is going to fix it is booked for a week so no car. No problem I will just take the bike, it was minus 3 Celsius when I left for work this morning but I was well dressed and it wasn't too bad. Well on my way home the throttle cable snapped, I had to drive 15 miles in the cold with my right hand pushing the carb linkage, my thumb was pretty sore by the time I got back, but the bike is nice and safe in my garage and I have ordered both throttle cables. A buddy of mine offered to give me a ride into work until I get my car back. I'm wondering if I should be changing my clutch cable too? Or any other parts for that matter. I know that I am going to change the timing belts this winter.
