My wife and I took a little ride today and she took some pics. Nothing outstanding but nice to look at. Since the Goldwing is in the shop getting the carbs worked on, we took the Silverwing. It was a beautiful day!

It's always a pleasure to read about rides and see the photo's :salute:

The tach shows 4500 rpm at 50 mph. Was that in high gear?

I'd say that had to be in fourth gear at that time.

:music: NICE.......... I bought a Clock just like the one you have .... but everytime it would get real hot sitting in the sun... it would show the wrong time. . . . so... I had a drawer full of old watches with a band broke or something. so......here is what I came up with..... I cut a piece of Stainless ... made a hole in it to fit the Watch Face..... and put a spring across the backside ..... I just slide the watch Under the spring....and it holds it right there. .............. we rode yesterday too.......across Clinch Mountain into Ky. and back.,.. about 300 miles. . . . . Life is short , if we don't enjoy it , we have missed the Train.

Enjoyed the pics!! back in 1981, I wanted to buy a new CX500 Deluxe. I could'nt come with the money, so I bought a KZ650 Kawi . It was fast , but the darn thing broke clutch cables every 5000 miles !! I put up with it for 10 years and 40,000 miles !! I sure wish I could have affored the CX 500
