Been semi-absent for the past few months, stopped to keep the posts read and welcome new members but it's been a tough year and half. I lost my dad in August of 2012 during the 86 refresh project. He was 83 years old. He only had 20% vision in one eye and I took care of him for his last eight years. In November 2013 I was called and went to take care of my 80 year old mother, along with my sister. My step-dad of 46 years would not leave her side. She lost her battle with cancer on December 20 with all of us by her side. For the past six weeks I have been helping "Pops" (my step dad) get used to being on his own, I returned home last Friday. Just wanted everyone to know I hadn't left the site and that although all my wing projects were put on hold, I hope to get back on them soon as possible. It will be a good way to get my head straight again and work through all this. Thanks, my friends.

Oh wow! Mike. I too took care of my parents in their decline. Nearly lost my job and my wife and alienated half the family that wanted to dump them in a nursing home. It's tough to do the "right" thing sometimes. At least my conscience is clear with no regrets.
If you just need to talk pm anytime. Good to have you back.

Hang in there Mike! That is a very difficult position to be in. We are going through similar with my Mother in Law and it has been a tough road for the family.
