Tubes or not.

OK. I've read previous threads about tubes or no tubes on 1979 ComStar rims. I removed the tires to paint the rims and there were tubes inside. Do I need top put tubes back in and If I were to run tubeless, what size valve stem would be required. I've read alot of info or tubes or no tubes but where do you find a valve stem for such a small hole in the rim?

Yes, '79 Comstars used tubes. The tires can be tube or tubeless, but either will need tubes.
