I was actually thinking that the 82 was really good value at just over $2k. They both look to be in immaculate condition. The 82 was really the bike that I needed more than the Rats Nest (better brakes and top end, while still being Vettered :good: )

The 84 is top dollar plus, have a pair of them, one of each color made, with both added together paid less than that. The one bought in 98 had 4,560 miles on it, looked as good or better, for $3400, $900 for a CLEAN one in 2014, with 67,681 miles on it, + about $1500 to put right. Tires, water pump, brakes & front end from a 85 F I model, fork seals were leaking, & these were ready to go, timing belts, Randak's oil filter spin on plate, & fuel filter, were some of the pricer things done to bring back to safe to ride, status. But most problems were just neglect, & not abuse, both still run great, feel very fortunate to have so many toy's! :yahoo:
