Might try that. However I'd rather not attract ants and all the other critters.
Do it the next doors yard. :yahoo:

I just might. Both are brothers with bad attitudes.
You will be all sweetness :smilie_happy:

Update on the Soda blast, nada it came out a bit cleaner in places, but won't take the paint off or their lacquer, so if yo look on the my build I am going to split the cases and get them professionally cleaned and stripped back to metal ready for paint(ing). Still have no idea on colour yet for the block, Carbs ally, manifold's are chrome. I was thinking about powder coating then spraying with a high solids 2K clear coat, the rocker covers are mirror polished, the timing belt covers are waiting for me to collect in the USA they are Chromed. I know this is crazy but I even thought about stripping the Webber's down to casings and have them gold plated? but I think that is a bit pretentious. I need to get the brake callipers coved in High Temp Clear to protect them.

How about a so called Black Chrome? for the engine block or even the same colour as the bodywork in the Black Cherry or cherry black which ever way you wana call it.

Could copper plate the engine block. Polished and clear coated would be very shiny. Or maybe nickle plated for a near chrome look? Not sure how well the block will take plating though.
