hmmmm so ...the mod i did to hooch by changing sense wire to battery from ignition was a good one .....seems hooch always overcharged the battery to death going through all the long honda wiring and connectors to the eventual sense wire where voltage there was lower than battery voltage....ive had no issues after the mod work to hooch ....
now tony im not trashing honda here im trying to keep people inform of what i do....not that i know it all i dont ...but some like to know what i do and how i try to keep the oldwings working well ....and it seems 1000s and 1100s suffer greatly here from the sense wire problems and boiling out batteries to death ...
i also realize hooch bike had terrible wiring conditions from long storage inside a building on concrete floor seemed to rot the wiring ....40yr old bikes can come in all kinds of needs not normal
