Hey folks, I cant get much info on the old 90`s model Z71 truck, Nada is ridiculously high and kelly is insultingly low...Chassis has over 200K, rebuilt engine 110K and 20K on rebuilt transmission, I see 98 models around for about the same with 140K same condition or better but is there anything that makes this better?
I have also searched CL within a 2 thousand mile radius, nothing for ale in the 89-91 models.
Thanks.

110,000 miles on new 5.7 engine

Uh...I ain't no rocket scientist, but, around heah, somethin wid 110,000 miles on it ain't considered "new". :whistling:

Truck looks like it's in pretty decent shape....other than the paint. The interior looks amazingly good, considering the quality of the upholstery on those things. I bet $3000 would buy it, maybe $2800, cash. Doesn't really sound that far off of market value to me.

Yea, I got a chuckle on that 110K new engine too..Nice fella to talk to and don't want to insult the guy but my feelings were 3,000 or less too.
Working on buying this 4X4 too...Tags are way overdue 2013.

Hard to compare values from a different area/country
In Texas any decent running 4WD pickup is outrageously valued, this is redneck truck country.
You just have to get a baseline from a source like KBB and then look at other comparable trucks in the same area. That should get you close.
The 3 years expired registration and inspection would concern me, pollution/smog equipment could be jacked.

Chevy is made by Gov. Motors. To me they have no value even if they did shop at the local pick and pull for a "new" 110 k miles motor. Dodge 318 needs timing gears and chain every 100k miles. Distributor needs rebuilt or replace close to 300k miles. My personal choice since the bailouts is Ford or import.

$4500 for 40 year old dodge, with a 400 yet( gas mileage of a 440 and power of a 360). Think I would pass on that one(and I'm a Dodge guy, too).

Yea..Really love the Chrysler products too..It actually is a 440, been swapped out at some time...still waiting to hear back...working on a F250 2 wheel drive with a big 460 3 speed automatic and a gear vendor overdrive..might get fairly decent milage on the highway.

Decent mpg for the 460 is anything over 12mpg. But that's big honking pickup with a very big motor. Get a heavy foot you'll soon learn you can move along at a rapid rate of fuel consumption.
