I removed, striped, and polished the Hunley's covers almost two years ago, did not re-clearcoat. They still look great although admitedly only about 500 miles since then. I do all chrome, aluminum, and paint with Original Bike Spirits every couple weeks when I park it at the shows. Have to agree that Spraymax 2K clearcoat from Amazon is amazing. My side covers, shelter sides, and front fender are lacquered in Duplicolor and after 2 months cure cleared with Spraymax. I paniked when the 2K first went on as it was milky and had runs and a gnat. After 2 days I wet sanded and buffed it - very happy with the outcome!
