Hi! Did you know to get an activation email, you have to give em the correct email address? Whew whats this world coming to!
Hello all Im Ben, I looooove motorcycles especially Goldwings the only other motorcycle I like close to Goldwings as much as I like Goldwings are the Victory Visions! I have a Silver 1987 GL1200 Interstate, well ridden and well loved. I have a 1979 CX500D Silverwing thats been in my family since 1993, rode everyday by my dad to and from work for about 12 years till he bought the 87 Wing and gave it to me after i earned it on my 18th birthday. Then I joined the navy and bought a 2006 suzuki boulevard C50 which was my wife and I's only means and mode of transportation from Feb 12th 2008 until Dec 17th 2008, which also marked her 9th month pregnant and if my C50 had a back rest, we would never have had to buy a car! My "A" school and having a kid put a stump on riding untill we got stationed in Augusta GA. My Wing, having sat in storage in Oklahoma with my mom under a tarp for near 3 years finally made it to me in GA and I wisely paid someone $250 to rebuild the carbs and get her running again and in Dec 2010 I rode her again for the first time in ages! In 2010 Dec someone rearended us in our car at 50 miles an hour at a stoplight and totalled our car. Luckily the satellite radio was undamaged and I was able to take it out of the car and replace the old wore out radio that was in the goldwing. In July my term in the Navy was up so my bikes made the trip from GA to my hometown of Las Vegas NV in the back of a Uhaul and not having a settled place right off the bat I stored all three bikes in storage (driving the Wing into storage of course) a little longer than I thought i would and Lo an Behold! 4 months of storage and the Wings all sorts of out of shape. I feel like shes an athlete, who if she isnt in constant training, her muscles deteriorate, she starts getting flabby, and cant walk up a short flight of steps without weezing heavy! Ha! I heard about this site through Omegaman (hope thats how you speil et) I saw his beautiful bike and I stopped to chat with him in the middle of busy busy holiday crazy traffic and he led me here. Thanks!

Hello and welcome to the site...One daughter was born at University Hopital in Augusta Ga. 97...

I'm glad you figured out the email thing Ben, welcome to the site! I met Ben the other night in front of BestBuy, when he stopped to ask me a question about draining carbs. I didn't know where the drain screws were, but told him where he could find out in a New York minute, CGF!

You're just a couple posts away from all the tech stuff Ben. See you on forums. :Egyptian:

Welcome aboard. Try some Seafoam in the fuel of all the bikes to clear the carbs then keep automatic transmission fluid in the fuel to keep them clean. About 8oz for a full tank on the goldwing. 4-6oz in the others.

Welcome to the CGW Forums, Ben!!! :clapping: :clapping: :clapping:
