Where would I find the vin number on the 1984 GL1200 Interstate???

Every motorcycle I have ever owned had the VIN plate on the steering head portion of the frame.

OK... I got it... It was so dirty that I did not even see it... was on the left side...

Have to look to make sure, if & when i remember to. :roll: But the plate with this information is on one side, :good: with the same numbers stamped into the other side of frame, :yes: but do not remember if date is stamped into the side of the frame as well. :nea:
