Has anyone out there ever worked on a 2009 Jetta, tried to change the rear brakes the other day and found out I could not push the piston back into the caliper as I have done on other vehicles, was told that I needed a special tool that would turn and push at the same time, to retract the piston, had gotten a socket that was made for just such a job, does the piston need turned clockwise or counter clockwise to retract it ? have watched a couple of videos on youtube that say to turn it clockwise but then again another said to go counter clockwise :headscratch: , just trying to be ready when that car gets back here for me to work on
:thanks:

Installing
Before pushing back the piston, extract some of the brake fluid out of the brake fluid reservoir using a bleeder bottle. Otherwise, especially if reservoir has been topped off, fluid will overflow and cause damage.
- Install pistons at knurling wheel of (T10165) by turning clockwise. Do not damage protective caps.
- To screw in, use plate (T10165/1) as an aid.

:good:

On some cars, there is a difference in the left/right side that determines whether it turns clock or counter-clockwise.
