Does anyone here have any experience with Evans Waterless Engine Coolant and if so what are your thoughts on it ? Other than it being a little pricey, I've already figured that much out. :smilie_happy:

What makes it interesting to me is the operating temp of - 40 to 375, no steam possible until 375 which means no hotspots or excessive pressure buildup at heads which would benefit head gasket problems, can be used in systems with or without thermostats, no system boilover, no excessive system pressure buildup, no corrosion and no ethylene glycol.

My thoughts are if you increase your odds of not having head gasket problems, ($200.00), not having water pump and other corrosion and pressure type cooling system problems ($175.00) plus labor and downtime it would offset the initial cost of the coolant.

Looks like it is regularly being used in motocross. Jay Leno goes through a pretty good interview with them:

Fred Camper posted recently that he works for a company that tests things like this. Although it doesn't boil, it had higher internal temperatures around the valves. A question mark for me still.
