last Friday lisa ( my niece ) and I headed to port huron for the port huron to mackinaw boat race festival

a few mor pic's from port huron. we left for home about 23:00 and arrived just about midnight, we would have stayed longer but we had plans for Saturday morning. it was only a 140 mile day

Saturday lisa was back at my house by 8:30 and we were on the road by 9:00 heading to Muskegon, mi. but we ran into this and with no place to take cover we high tailed it to Jackson, mi then home. found out later the wind was gusting up to 53mph with a wicked rain storm

once again lisa was at my house by 8:30 and we were on the road for Muskegon, last day for Muskegon bike times. the plan was port huron Friday, Muskegon Saturday, and river town bike days in grand rapids, mi sunday. the storm changed our plans, I wanted lisa to see the west cost so we didn't make it to Grap but she did see lake Michigan ( west coast )

we visit hotrod Harley Davidson while there and stopped for lunch before getting back on the road and heading home. I found out that not only does the 1500 need tires but it needs brakes and an oil change too. I looked at the odometer once lisa parked the 1200 wing and it needs an oil change too. yes lisa rode my 1200 wing all weekend, 300 miles Saturday and about 425 miles sunday
