nice i was thinking you quit coming here .....the potencial of the boxer motors is huge ....compared to other designs ....the vid was great ....i see you have car tire also ...t5hat puts some traction on the table ....with boxer powered bikes there perfect set up as they lean just so far anyway ....ive had strait pipes on my bike before sounds like a dragster...it is hard to beat the sound as you said ...glad to see you posting again best to ya ..
Forgot my password ? lol been visiting all the time really enjoy all the articles here ...been working on the house trying to stay married also ..the bikes are heavy but unlike V twins the Center gravity is so much lower ...and perfect balance, I have been through 12 rear tires in 15 years , car tires and MC tires , back on a oversize MC tire now both so different , but car tires last longer and cheaper for sure, but up in New England i ride all country roads and back roads the Ruts in the road are bad and with car tire rear steer is a problem, For touring cross country i would put back on car tire for sure !

I've always had a soft spot for Sportsters, especially the old iron heads. I remember them from growing up in the '60s when they were a seriously fast bike and when Cal Rayborn raced Harleys so successfully.

I will probably never own one but I'm still looking for reasons to like them.

If this topic is strictly related to exhaust tone then:

Nice: A rumbly lopey Vtwin of any flavor but preferably a Ducati
The screaming banshee wail of an uncorked inline 4
Even a smokey ole 2 stroke but I think it's more sentimental thing than audibly pleasant

Audio fails that sound terrible: Any little tuner car with a fart can
A black smoke belching diesel with a modified exhaust (stinks and sounds bad)

Honda went for the F1 sound with the CBX and you sure nailed it with your track day riding. I was especially impressed with your negotiations of the other riders with most of them adopting a verticle riding stance while you seemed to be getting much more friendly with the corners :good: I will never have the quality that you put into your bikes with any of my rides :hi: Fstsix is certainly an accurate description for you and your rides, I love how smooth the Valkerie is and how certainly cant beat the angry CBX :good: :salute: :moped:
