Where do the trunk pouch's get attached on a gl1100? Above the lid or below the lid?
Where do the trunk pouch's get attached

It seems they get mounted to the lid portion on either side of the back pad.

they get attacked to the lid an the loops on the back attack to the trunk body so they don't flop around

So how many holes do I need to drill for one pouch?
2 for the top. And what about the straps? I can not tell from Dan's hairy arm where the straps are attached.
I had lunch today with Greg AKA fuser. He left Pennsylvania at 7 am and was in Columbus to see the AMA motorcycle museum. He was en route to Alaska.
