Weatherbug on my computer ain't being real nice for your area Joe, 10 degrees tonight and possiblilty of snow next three days. Better "throw another log on the fire". Stay safe.

When I lived in the midwest they would impound your car for driving in such conditions.
Here the police consider it an emergency if you have to go to work after they've "closed" the roads. Just drive carefully. Is what they told me. :Doh2:

Well,I never have seen the roads closed to the point of impounding cars, but throw Lake Michigan in the mix and you get the "Lake Effect Snow" on top of the already pain in the arse you have down there Joe.

I am getting real sick of plowing the driveway twice a day.

i was up around joe's awhile back on a job when they got 28 inches and everything was shut down from evensville to louisville. but i plowed throught it and got home to tenn. and was supposed to go back the next week but by then everthing had melted and coundn't go back couse it flooded. the disstillery in washington ind.

yep i bet tory ...for me growing up mostly in deep south this is like the artic circle ....but im getting use to it ...small price to pay for living where i do .....i actualy enjoy most of the winter .....

Sure hate to hear youse Northerners are having such a bad time with all that white stuff...BUT....I'm sure happy it ain't ME! :smilie_happy:

Another but load of snow today,It just keeps coming.
If I dont go south,I am at least moving eastward away from the "Big Lake"
You see,Not only do I get the regular Michigan snow,I also get the Lake effect.Which is the moisture picked up from lake michigan and then dumped as snow withen the first 30 miles or so off the lake.

Yesterday we accually had front end loaders and dump trucks come move the snow piles to make room for the next round.

I sure miss last year.
