With all lifting equipment you need to have your load centered correctly ( balanced) so that you can remove wheels etc without fear of the lift tipping. I have to do this with my car hoist especially with all the weight in the back of my ute otherwise it becomes unstable as well.
I always rock the vehicle at a low height to make sure that it is securely positioned on the lift. :yes:
