Hello Friends,

First of all thanks to you all for welcoming me to this forum last year. I recently bought a KLR650 (dual Sport) and I love it. Now I have 6 bikes and need to make room in my garage.

Below is a picture of my bike. Included in this sale will be extra front and rear fenders, extra R/L side covers and an extra faux tank cover. These are all in great condition with all emblems.

The bike runs excellent. The motor is perfect with no leaks. After I bought the bike I had a pro mechanic install new timing belts, rear brakes, all fluid changes, etc. I installed cheap rear turn signals whicjh are working well. Also, the battery is brand new AGM.

The bad: The bike needs new speedo cable and the Left rear air suspension new seals.

Come check it out and spend as much time riding it (I need to see endorsement) as you need. The bike is insured and registered and you will love riding it.

I think the bike is a steal at $1100 with all the extra parts. I will post more pictures and can also send short video clips
via my phone to your email. I want somebody on this forum to get a great bike.

Simba

how far from Windsor are you?

I am in Lansing, MI about 1.5 hours from Detroit and Windsor. Canadian $$ works for me also. Anybody come ride it----You can ride this bike back home: no need to trailer it. Bring a speedo cable with you or a GPS.

Simba

extra stuff---these alone would cost $$ on ebay. Included in the price.
If anybody comes and rides the bike the bike and decided not to buy it, I will buy you lunch.

I Love the look of the bike and the price is great - its just that its a bit too far away (6 hours if there is no delay at the border) I hope you sell that bike soon.

You are exactly right! its a great bike and I truly hate passing it up - I was going to change the colour to match My bike (that way I could never sell it) problem is there is a little V65 Sabre in TO that I am going to look at this weekend and the wife wont let me buy both. (actually she dosn't understand why I need another - but thats another story)

Same reason she needs another pair of shoes, purse, outfit, etc. So you have options! I keep at least 3 bikes registered and insured every season. And I have about a dozen now.

ya but my insurance company did a routine check of my licence and who would have figured I HAVE FOUR TICKETS its like they hit a jackpot at the casino - I dumped them after being with them for 20 years -> not one claim, cheapest policy gets my money - no more loyalty here. Thats why she doesnt understand why I need (and will have soon) another bike.

BTW no lost points on any of the tickets.

Thank you friends!
I sold my GL1100 to a good guy from Indiana----He will treat her right!
If I ever get another GL I am coming back.
Thanks. Its been a lot of fun!
Simba
p.s He got a nice bike for $1000. I have sellers remorse. Let it be.

I bought the GL 1100 from Simba, what a great guy. I am happy to have her and have named her Rose, as in Yellow Rose (nothing to do with Texas). I have begun working on her, some minor things. I will post pics soon.
