Such a good looking bike Honda made.
+1 :good:

Starting to see some real cheap ones advertised and this is where the heart ache begins. On the Valkyrie pages there are some newbies getting a cheap bike that like European motoring are not cheap when it comes to repairs.

If my low back had not given up on me, I would be jumping all over that '99!
If you're talking about the first '99 at the top of the page, I'm with you. I'd get rid of those tassels though...

The '99 Interstate. I have loved the Interstate model for a long time. These '01's are my favorites!

I’m not a big fan of the Interstate. It’s the fairing I can’t warm up to. I prefer the Tourer. But that’s just me. Lots of guys create the “Super Valk” out of an interstate by removing the trunk. Very common configuration.

That interstate looks good to me, but then again, I like the Road Glide from Harley. LOL

They are starting to pop up in the upper $3,000 range around here., kind of a bummer because I always thought they would hold their value better than that. Oh well, I have no intention to sell so it doesn't matter to me. I just wish I could have gotten mine AFTER the prices started to drop.

I didn't.

They have really only started to drop just recently but good ones are still bringing reasonable money. I was stoked when I bought mine so cheaply 3 years ago at 5K aud which was equivalent to $3.5K usd when similar bikes in the US were $5K US without shipping and import duties plus the exchange rate.

In original condition, they are still up in price. That Valk posted by Ansimp looks rough even in the picture.

Looking at Valk prices on local Craigslist makes me sad. Once I clean up Vince's and get it on the market I fear we'll have trouble getting anywhere close to $3k for Hanni

If the condition is good enough, and there are enough extras on it, you may be able to get that much. It just depends on the quality. Down here they fetch that much easily.

Just checked Craigslist, the "cheap" late '90s Valks are $3500 at the lowest. $4-5k is common.

Y'all got me excited for a bit. Oh well, I don't have the garage space, and a Valk's purpose would overlap quite a bit with the GL1100.
