Snow changed to pouring rain here. No rides yeT! :rant:

This morning I found out they had snow in La Crescenta, enough for snow balls!
Very rarE.

Exicting ride for me yesterday...I did a little werk on the 'Wing & the '74 Vette, then took the 'Wing to get raped, er...gas. I usually only ride with me boots on, but I had me tenny-sneekies on at the time. Hard to get a heel/toe shifter to werk well when ya gots no heel or toe on yer shoes! Yep...I missed a couple o shifts...dadgummiT oh2:

That settles it ... time to rebuild the carbs...went to the gas station for fillup and a little ride...got to the gas station just a block away...realized i did't have my wallet ... went home to get it... just as i pulled into the drive snoke started rising from engine....got off and found flames also...grabed the hose and put it out...found the #2 carb float bowl gasket dripping a large amount of gas...SHORT RIDE!!!! Now the rack has to be pulled...damb-it

Took the plunge this AM, and rode the 'Wing...in 47* weather. BBbbbbrrrrrrrr!!! I know..."Suck it up, Princess"... :smilie_happy:
I just can't deal with going thru the $100 a week fuel bill for the Cad just to go to werk and bacK :nea:
