I'm having a hard time finding an air gauge to check pressure in tires. This is on an 1982. Got a gauge with an angle today but it almost worked. What kind od gauge do i need
Harley Davidson came out with a real slick guage this last summer - they couldnt hardly keep them on the shelf includes a guage and pump and the nice thing is when you release it does not drop pressure like most do https://www.ebay.ca/itm/AIR-SHOCK-PUMP-A ... f7&vxp=mtr
I just use an angled gauge can even use a straight one on it too, just don't get in a hurry when checking the pressure a little practice and you can get the gauge lined up on the valve stem on the 1st try :hi: :hi: :hi:
Next tire change put 90* valve stem on. Makes checking the air pressure real easy.
I also use a digital guage on my Aspy...it does not have 90* stems yet.
I made my own using a gauge I had and a clear plastic tube and a airtip nossal like for putting air in the tire.. works great for the rear tire especially..If I find it I shall show you of what I speak..
