How do you calculate miles per gallon when you add 8 ounces of ATF?
Gas only or gas + ATF?

Is the better mpg due to more liquid?
I add the ATF just before adding the gas. I then fill the gas tank to the bottom of the filler neck. That way, I know my liquid level was always started in the same place regardless of how much ATF is added.

I then ride until the reserve needs to be opened and head for a gas station. Top off and check the miles ridden on the trip odometer from the last fill up (I zero the odometer at every fill up just in case the gas gauge fails. I know I can always go 150 miles before running low.)

Show off! :cheeky:

If you adopt a standard fill procedure (ATF in first) then it is just like your fuel tank is 8oz ( or whatever the amount as long as it is constant) smaller and your mileage will be accurate providing you fill to the same point each time.
