You won't regret acquiring the "Fat Girl" (what we affectionally call our Valks). A long distance machine without all the frills. I've had mine all over the inter-mountain western USA and haven't even had it that long.

They are incredible machines.

Just saw a red and chrome one here on the freeway. Was running a car tire in the rear, nice fat look that filled the ass end nicely.

The only negative as high lighted by my brother Kim is all that polishing time now required :smilie_happy:
As I had told him that I really like his 2012 Road King but I couldn't deal with cleaning time that takes longer than the ride. :doh:

Yeah fer sure. Keeping all that looking nice takes a lot of time. Mine is a fraction and takes more work than I want but hey, it's a labor of love right.

The Rats Nest is with me to the end and I hope the same with the new Fat Girl. I am sure that I will start doing more cosmetic work on her so that she doesn't feel unloved but more than likely it will still be my favourite ride for quite some time. I have promised to cull bikes and I may give up on the CBRs ( maybe just keep one :hihihi: ) unless I end up with hip surgery and the CBRs become as comfortable as the wings again to ride.
