I am a member of multiple motorcycle groups including PGR, South Central Southern Cruisers, and Christian Motorcyclist Association. The president of the Southern Cruisers contacted me last night about them being approached by someone wanting to do a benefit ride for a soldier that was blinded in action. The proceeds from the dice roll will go to purchase a seeing eye dog for the soldier.
The tentative date for the ride is October 16. Aside from the details that I've already given, that is all I know at this point. I will update you as I have more information.
If you have the time and ability, please join us in trying to raise money for this. The cost of the seeing eye dogs is around $3500. I would love to see that number exceeded.
The route will be the back roads of southern Tennessee and northern Alabama.
