I absolutely love the GL1100 I think they're a great bikes. They're dependable got great power and pretty fuel efficient for a bigger bike but with that being said I absolutely hate the GL1100 seat I feel like I'm sitting on the tank I feel like I'm sitting on my balls all the time 2 hours on that seat and I'm ready to rip it off and go get a piece of plywood always feel like I'm sitting too far forward on them does anyone know if there is a better seat for another bike that will fit these GL1100 s like something off of a 81-82 CB750?

You can re-shape your foam with an electric carving knife. But, it sounds like you might have an aftermarket King & Queen seat. They are awful. A seat for a "standard" might fit.

It's the factory and I hate it

I agree, the GL1100 is a great bike. I have a Custom Diamond seat that came with my 83 GL1100i for sale. Here are links to the FB Marketplace listing and the eBay lisiting. The price is higher on eBay to make up for the seller fees there but the discounted shipping may make up for the price difference.

I like the seat just not the color but thank you for your time

Another option is having the seat reconfigured and recovered by an upholstery shop. That's what I did with my Kawasaki, the pleats don't pinch and allow airflow.

Yeah I think that's what I'm going to end up doing ,the main problem is the foam is lost its strength so after you been riding a while it just compacts and leaves up sitting on the pan so it's gonna need new foam

I have replaced the foam in seats with carpet padding. If the cover is good and you can get it off without damage, heating on reassembly should help it conform to any "sculpting" you might do to the foam. Multiple layers of rebond carpet pad (many dealers or installers will give away scraps) glued with 3M headliner contact cement (90?) and shaped with an electric carving knife (NOT the wife's) can do quite a job.
