exactly my point, if it's got a start and a finish and whoever gets there first is the winner, no matter what the transportation method is, it's a race. I guaranty when I was doing either one of these, I was racing.View attachment 1

Those boat racers are out of this world!!!! You couldn't pay me enough to come in last place in one of those things I need to feel some control !

If it draws a crowd of spectators well then someone must be interested in it and enjoy the entertainment value in it. Then again, as long as it goes fast who really cares about the rest.
