Who has a set like these and are they comparable to those that are a lot more expensive?

They work great! Just remember to zero the gauges to themselves first.

I still use the old mercury tubes, they work great.
Thank you! :cheeky:

And you both write with burnt sticks on cave walls also! :smilie_happy:

You need to come into the 21st century...

:smilie_happy: :smilie_happy: Don'tcha kinda need something like.....FIRE, to make burnt sticks? Did they have fire back in them days? :smilie_happy:

I have the same gauges, but bought mine individually from the Matco guy...same exact gauges....just add vacuum hose, and go. :Egyptian:

Well with mercury tubes never have to worry if there acurate and never need calibrated. They just work, with 4 different gauges you have to be sure there all calibrated the same.

They are easily checked by teeing them together and applying a vacuum source. I check mine from time to time, there is a calibration screw on the front of the dial and the front cover is easily removable. I have enough hazardous stuff in my shop without adding mercury to the mix.

I was thinking to get the stuff to synch but I think I'll just go with the single carbs on my bikes.

Oh I am still thinking of a single carb for the 1100, but the 1200 I want to try and keep it stock for at least the first 50,000 miles.
